Listeners notice the voice before they forgive anything else. At Noelpulse, Vocal recording starts with listening: your reference, tempo, lyrics, and comfort at the mic. We pick microphones from the locker and shape the headphone mix until you feel ready to perform.

Workflow
Briefing
Send beat or session, lyrics, and optional references. We load the project before you arrive and hold the booth.
Setup
Quick mic comparison, pop filter, headphone mix, and distance — usually ten to twenty minutes.
Recording
Full passes, then targeted sections. We mark favourites and plan overdubs without rushing you.
Handoff
Comping by agreement, consistent naming, WAV export and download link — typically still on session day.
Who uses the booth
Solo artists, rappers, songwriters, singers over backing tracks, bands adding vocals after a rehearsal recording session, and speakers recording demo narration — the booth fits these workflows. Minimum booking age is 16; see terms and conditions.
Studio location: Stapelgasse 8, 1050 Wien. Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday by appointment 11:00–16:00, closed Sunday.. We usually reply within 2 business days by email or phone.
Room and gear
The vocal booth is isolated from the control room at roughly 12 m² — dry enough for clean captures without feeling claustrophobic. Glass keeps eye contact with the engineer; the building has 3 rooms including a 42 m² live room for band work later.
About 28 microphones live in the locker — large-diaphragm condensers, dynamics for loud or close work, and more. Routing uses 24 patch points; you do not need to wire the studio yourself.
How a session runs
After check-in we confirm song structure, doubles, and whether comping happens in the studio or later. Setup compares two or three mics on your voice, sets the headphone balance, and adds reverb in the cans only if you want it.
Recording alternates takes and short breaks. Tired voices rarely yield usable lines — a shorter focused session beats four hours of decline. Overdub tracks are named clearly (lead, double, ad-lib) so the project stays readable without us in the room.
What to bring
Ideally instrumental WAV without guide vocal, or exported stems; lyrics on paper or phone; tempo and key if known; one to three reference tracks for vocal tone. Your own headphones are welcome if you trust them.
The prep guide covers hydration and rest the day before. If you are unwell, tell us early — cancellation at least 5 days ahead is free under our terms.
Delivery, formats, archive
Default is 24-bit, 48 kHz; other rates by arrangement. You receive individual tracks or a comped lead file depending on time booked. Handoff via secure download or your drive; raw sessions stay archived 24 months, then we delete them — keep your own backups.
Light editing (breaths, obvious clicks) within the session is normal; heavy tuning or detailed vocal editing is not automatic and can be quoted separately. Final mixing is a separate service — we deliver clean, named stems for it.
Rates
All amounts include 20% VAT. Net reference per hour: €79.17. Billing follows the booked block; overtime only by agreement.

Revisions and limits
Comping and one or two passes on comps already delivered usually stay within the session if no new recording is needed. Extra overdubs mean another booking or hourly time.
Not included: beat production, full music production, tuning without agreement, video, translations, or sample clearance — resolve samples before the session. We give technical feedback when asked; we do not replace your producer role.

Questions & answers
How long for one song?
For a three- to four-minute track with verses, chorus, and a few doubles, many clients plan two to four hours. The half-day rate often fits a single; albums need buffer — ask via contact.
Can someone sit in?
One or two guests in the control room are fine. Larger groups often distract — mention it beforehand.
Do you mix the vocals too?
Mixing is priced per track separately. You can mix elsewhere; we supply consistently named files.
Illness or cancellation?
Tell us early. Cancel at least 5 days ahead for free rescheduling per terms; later rules apply to the deposit.
Can I send other artists as references?
References for listening in the studio are normal. Commercial use of third-party works is your responsibility; we keep references only for your project duration.
